Hi, I’m Jocelyn.

I help students navigate all things career exploration, undergraduate, and graduate admissions. AND…we typically have a pretty fun time while doing it!

My Approach

Career Exploration

Simply put, I help students find their path in life! I administer career counseling services and research-backed assessments to determine the student’s personality style, values, interest, and skillsets and align this data to careers that, research shows, would be most fulfilling to them. This provides students the clarity and confidence they need to then pick a major, program of study, and universities.

Undergraduate & Graduate Admissions Assistance

I personally walk students through college search and selection based on their interests/values and then research all application requirements and deadlines for said schools.

I then create a plan of action and timeline, help the student craft a high quality resume and essays, professionally edit all documents, and guide the student through the submission of all required application materials on or before deadlines. For graduate students, we also rehearse and prepare for admissions interviews.

What Clients are Saying…

Jocelyn helped me with my applications for graduate school Ph.D. and PsyD programs in Clinical Psychology. She is very knowledgable on what programs are looking for. She structures and breaks down each component of the application process to make it less overwhelming to complete. She also sufficiently prepared me for my interviews by building up my confidence and skill. And outside of that, she is a lovely person to work with. Thank you Jocelyn!

Talia, Graduate Admissions

Jocelyn was an incredible help to me as I applied to MBA programs during active military service. The Collegiate provides a professional, friendly, down to earth, and overall outstanding environment. Jocelyn has been flexible and accommodating with my irregular, and at times unpredictable, schedule. The Collegiate helped me research programs that would best suit me and my career goals, organize the whole process, and effectively convey the strengths of my candidacy in my essays. I have been accepted to 3/4 programs that I applied to with scholarship offers from all three! The Collegiate proved an invaluable asset, and I recommend their services to anyone who wants to ensure they navigate the application process as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Matt, Graduate Admissions

Jocelyn was amazing! I was provided with all of the resources I needed to apply to graduate school through her services, and I am happy to say that I got in early to Occupational Therapy school. I am so grateful for The Collegiate, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone.

Marley, Graduate Admissions

When I first met Jocelyn in 2019, she immediately eased my anxiety about helping my children through the college admissions process. She is very organized, has a well developed timeline for meeting deadlines/requirements, offers constructive feedback on assignments and keeps her clients accountable and on track. This method has worked well with our daughter who attended Baylor University, and we are now having our son go through the same process with her. She makes meaningful connections with her clients, and encourages them to reach their fullest potential in this transition. She is realistic in helping set more achievable goals, and has alternative plans for each and every scenario. I would highly recommend her services to give your child the best opportunity to successfully go through the college process (as it can be overwhelming and difficult). You will not be disappointed! 😊
